About

We are I love Praag / I Love Krakow, a young Dutch, English, and German tour operator running guided walks that treat each city as an open-air museum in Prague, Krakow, Brno, Cesky Krumlov and Bratislava. Born from a love of these European capitals, we work across the Czech capital Prague, the Polish city Krakow and the Slovakian capital Bratislava. Our team is a club of highly experienced local guides — many have more than 10 years of guiding under their belts and have previously worked for the largest tour operators. After feeling out of place at those firms, they embraced a new challenge with I Love Praag.

What is I Love Praag / I Love Krakow?

We are a young Dutch, English, and German tour operator created out of a passion for these European capitals. The operation brings together local guides seeking a fresh, independent challenge.

Why did you start this company?

We started I Love Praag because we love these European capitals and wanted to present them differently. Many guides left larger firms feeling out of place and joined to pursue this new challenge.

De gids Alaa deed een aantal stops aan die we anders niet hadden tegengekomen. Zijn uitleg was kort. Door er zelf naar te vragen wisten we dat hij niet afkomstig was van Praag maar er wel woont. Er was weinig interactie met de groep. Voor de toer start even elkaar voorstellen is altijd leuk zodat je dan weet waar iedereen vandaan komt

We hebben einde van de middag met huig een tour gedaan. Hij heeft alles goed verteld en veel achtergrond informatie gegeven. We zijn bij veel bezienswaardigheden geweest (bijv. De Charles brug, de kerstmarktjes, universiteit, de klok, de markt van de beste typische koekjes en nog meer). We konden alles vragen en hij had overal antwoord op. Echt een aanrader!

Onze gids Julka was zeer goed op de hoogte van de geschiedenis van Praag, werd ook met veel enthousiasme overgebracht. We waren een kleine groep dus alles verliep zeer vlot! Een aanrader!
